There will be a penalty for each wrong answers marked in the Objective type questions.the 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer as the penalty for each wrong answer. If a question is left blank means no answer is marked by the applicants then there will be no penalty for that kind of questions.

IBPS SO 2018 Syllabus

Exam Syllabus for IBPS Specialist Officer 2018 includes Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness as the baseline syllabus for all departments along with that every department you have applied for also conducts a professional knowledge exam which includes topic from your professional area. The number of paper conducted will be one consisting of four sections. The duration of the test will be two hours and the language used in the paper will be bilingual i.e. Hindi and English. A Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be provided against each wrong answer. Here we are mentioning both the professional Knowledge syllabus and the common syllabus for all branches.
